Glenn Beck’s Memorabilia Museum Makes U.S. History Come Alive

Something profoundly different is inspiring Americans about our history. It’s like no other American history museum or exhibit. For almost two decades, talk show luminary and author, Glenn Beck, has collected memorabilia to preserve the American story. He calls it the American Journey Experience.
Glenn: “I have been collecting the physical evidence of America’s soul – the documents, the letters, the artifacts that tell the true story of who we are.”
The American Journey Experience (AJE) is where American history comes alive in a state-of-the-art museum and research library located in Irving, Texas. Tours of the artifact vault, containing more than one million artifacts and documents from Christpher Columbus to the space race, must be scheduled in advance.
From George Washington’s gold-rimmed glasses and FDR’s wheelchair to Dorothy’s ruby slippers, AJE takes you on a breathtaking tour through America’s remarkable history.
Beck says his collection constitutes “the third-largest private collection of Founding documents in the world,” after the Library of Congress and the National Archives and Records Administration.
Also a part of AJE is the AJE Summer Institute which is open to students 18-25 years old “for a hands-on experience to study original historical documents.” In one week, students “receive specialized teaching and instruction and the opportunity to gain a wealth of knowledge from our speakers and guest lecturers.”
Not a part of AJE, but in keeping with his incomparable collection of American history documents and artifacts, Beck has created the first independent AI-driven American Historical Library – complete with its own librarian – George.
George AI is a search engine “built from the writings of George Washington himself, the writings of the Founders, the thousands of sermons that they heard from their church pulpits, the books that they read, and the principles they lived by. In December of 2025, AJE partnered with the U.S. Department of Education and the America 250 Civics Education Coalition to promote civics education and a shared understanding of the principles that shaped the founding of our nation. The National History Rocks! Tour visited classrooms across the country from December 2025 through June 2026.
