The White House put out a list of leftist endeavors undertaken by various components of the Smithsonian, an institution created by act of Congress and two-thirds funded by taxpayer money. Here are a few highlights from the list:
Shame on Senator Tim Kaine! He thinks our rights come from government, like in the Soviet Union. But what the government giveth, the government can take away. This is completely contrary to the American Idea where we have unalienable rights no one can take away, not even Senator Kaine. Bone up on the basics of the American system with the Instant Graduate Degree in Political Science.
In July, Antifa vandalized the monument commemorating George Washington’s mother, Mary Ball Washington, in Fredericksburg, VA. Friends of the Washington Heritage Museums is offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the individuals involved.
Ignorantly claiming that a University of Pennsylvania Benjamin Franklin statue stands “as a symbol of imperial violence and colonialism,” pro-Hamas rioters threw red paint on it. Three search warrants served by the Penn Police Department culminated in the search of an off-campus student residence on Sept. 24, 2024 and on Oct. 18, 2024. A cell phone was taken and violations of criminal mischief and conspiracy were listed.
At Temple University in Philadelphia, members of the radical group Students for Justice in Palestine, were recently on a group chat where they admitted that one of their main goals is the destruction of America and capitalism.
A Washington state democrat introduced a bill to remove George Washington’s image from the state flag. However, the Washington State Standard reported that the bill is not likely to move forward this year.
There was a time when reciting the Pledge of Allegiance was standard in schools — and uncontroversial. Then it became an issue — and optional. Now it’s not even an option at one Vermont school, say local parents.
Democrat VP candidate Tim Walz's education advisor calls for the overthrow of America. There was a time that this would have been shocking. But given Democrats' collective behavior since the 2024 election, this goes more in the "saying the quiet part out loud" category.
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson uses Memorial Day weekend to ignore the holiday to wish everyone a happy "Africa Day". This is a gross insult to all of the African nations whose murder rates are nowhere close to Chicago's.
Border Patrol Recruiter Asked to Leave California High School Career Fair. Cut off any federal funding to this town until the school's Principal has been fired and spends 100 hours community service with Border Patrol to see the toll of human trafficking.
WNBA announcer Rebecca Lobo apologizes for calling America great during a game broadcast. Some of the league's dozens of TV viewers rightfully took offense.
Performer sings National Anthem in Spanish at Dodgers’ game, despite warning not to do so
Instead of suspending students for loving our nation, maybe we should fire all public officials and employees, who feed at the trough while hating our nation! You won’t believe these three incidents involving our American flag:

South Carolina State Sen. Matt Leber (R) is continuing his fight to obligate local officials to follow the existing law and swear an oath to the United States Constitution after county council members reversed their decision to do so. Which county members? That would be eight of the 11 members of the library board. Yes, the people charged with curating knowledge to the local citizenry find the U.S. Constitution problematic. The one flaw with the plan is not firing the board members first.

- celebrates the act of illegally crossing the southern border
- argues in favor of biological men competing in women’s sports
- characterizes the Texas Revolution as a “massive defense of slavery waged by ‘white Anglo Saxon’ settlers against anti-slavery Mexicans fighting for freedom, not a Texan war of independence from Mexico”
- claims “what unites Latinas and Latinos“ is “the Black Lives Matter movement”
- refers to the founding of America as “a profound unsettling of the continent”
- declares the Pilgrims were just a “myth” and Benjamin Franklin just a slaveholder
- defines Latino history as centuries of victimhood and exploitation, suggests the U.S. is stolen land, and characterizes U.S. history as rooted in “colonization”
- displays quotes from a socialist and the notorious communist Angela Davis (the latter was once among the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives)
