  • Senator Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced a bill that would ban doctors from performing life-altering and irreversible transgender procedures on kids across the country.
  • Sanctuary policies across the United States may be in jeopardy after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that the federal government holds the authority to deport illegal aliens even when local authorities object.
  • Democrats want to revise the Constitution to limit presidential pardon power now that Biden has gotten what he wanted in pardoning his son.

  • Bitcoin Storms Above $100,000 As Trump 2.0 Fuels Crypto Euphoria.
  • California has lost more than 4,000 fast food jobs since the state’s $20 per hour minimum wage for fast food went into effect.
  • The U.S. Eastern District Court of Texas granted a preliminary injunction, blocking the U.S. Department of Treasury from enforcing the Corporate Transparency Act’s (CTA) beneficial ownership information (BOI) reporting requirements marking a huge victory for small businesses.  The lawsuit, brought by the National Federation of Independent Business, argues that the CTA is unconstitutional in that it exceeds Congress’s authority over the states.

  • Officials of a New Jersey town now say that a ban on “props” at public comments during hearings does not apply to the Constitution and U.S. flags after the issue led to nationwide outrage and controversy.
  •  The U.S. Capitol Police union leader is calling out the department for providing special financial and other benefits to Capt. Michael Byrd, the officer who fatally shot Jan. 6 protester Ashli Babbitt, that were not given to fellow officers.
  •  In an effort to circumvent President Trump’s ability to limit federal employees’ working from home, the Biden admin secures remote work for more than 40,000 Social Security Administration workers until 2029.

  • Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy headed to Capitol Hill to meet with lawmakers about President-elect Donald Trump’s incoming Department of Government Efficiency.  Musk says that they intend to eliminate $2 trillion in government waste.
  •  The Department of Energy is a breeding ground for fraud and abuse—like most government agencies. In its recently released Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 performance report, the agency's Office of Inspector General identified nearly $1 billion of wasteful spending this year.
