Unless you’ve been living in a cave the last few weeks, you must have heard about the Gun-Quake in Virginia by now. As of this writing, 126 Virginia counties, cities, and towns have passed Second Amendment sanctuary resolutions. Ralph Northam, can you hear us now?
After his blackface scandal, Governor Northam has been on a charm offensive to woo back black support. He might do well to heed the wishes of women and minority gun owners to back off the Bloomberg-funded assault on gun rights that the Virginia Democrats have planned for the legislative session.
The Governor should atone by taking his cue from Frederick Douglass who was a big advocate of gun rights.
